Aircraft Carrying Pete Hegseth Forced to Touch Down in UK Because of Crack in Windshield

An aircraft transporting Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was compelled to make an unscheduled landing in the UK on Wednesday after a crack was discovered in the jet's front window, as stated by an official statement which stated that the secretary was unharmed.

"The plane touched down based on standard protocol and everyone onboard, including Secretary Hegseth, is secure," a spokesperson stated in a public statement.

He was traveling back from a quick journey to the Belgian capital during the flight.

This incident is not the first occasion that a US military aircraft ferrying a senior official has suffered technical problems.

In a previous incident this year, a American military jet carrying Marco Rubio to Munich was compelled to turn back to the US capital after suffering a mechanical fault.
